Wings by:Aprilynne Pike

Wings is a really good young adult novel involving Fairies and Trolls. (I needed something that wasn't vampires LOL) I really enjoyed this book and will be reading the second and third installment soon as they are both sitting on my "to be read" shelf!

Laurel is scared to death when she realizes that she has a "bump" in the middle of her back and it's not going away...only getting bigger and bigger as well as harder and harder to hide from everyone especially her parents. Eventually the "bump" turns into something else all together and Laurel confides in her best friend David and asks him for help figuring out what it is.

Laurel and her parents get pulled through the ringer in this one and it takes Laurel, David, and Tamani (a special person in Laurel's life) to get them all out of the trouble they got themselves into.

I would reccommend this book for any young adult reader! I absolutely adore it!
