Lover Awakened is the third book of The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. I absolutely loved this one! Well I loved them all so far! LOL J.R. Ward is an amazing writer! There were lots of things in this book that I never saw coming.
Zadist is without a doubt my favorite Brother thus far! He's so unpredictable. He was kidnapped as an infant and was sold as a "blood slave" so he was tortured and used most of his life. After he was rescued by his twin ,Phury, he completely shut everything good out of his mind. He always seemed to be mad at the world.
Bella changed Zadist in ways that none of the brotherhood thought he could be changed. I was honestly touched by this book. I didn't cry like I did when I read Lover Eternal though. This one was mostly happy when it came to Zadist and Bella.
As well as the beautiful things that took place in this book for Zadist, horrible things also happened and Tohrment's life was ripped apart. All of the brothers mourned over the loss of a loved one.
----Of course after reading the first two books in this series I couldn't stop! These are truly addictive and amazingly written.
