Welcome to the Middle of the Road. This is a combined book review blog, one that is both cherished and prided over. We want everyone who comes to our page to find something of intrest to them, so when they walk away they are either satisfied or intrigued. We are both avid readers and have a passion about books that few of our other friends do. Both of us are happy to share our experiences in the book world and at times some goodies too. Enjoy your time here, and if you are anything like us, you could spend hours just wandering aimlessly through the world of books, just like a lazy afternoon down the Middle of the Road.

Raised by Wolves by:Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Raised by Wolves...hmmm...really I don't know what to say about this one except that I am truly disappointed! The title, the cover, and the summary on the back of the book, all of it made this book seem very enticing. In my opinion it was a VERY slow read. It took me over a week to read this book with only a little over 400 pages in it. I should have finished it in 3 days! I just couldn't get into it. It never really got interesting until the last couple chapters. I guess if I was still 13 it would have interested me more ;).

-----I picked this book up at my own accord (yes I felt like slapping myself on the wrist after reading it) in my local bookstore simply because it looked like it would be good. I read the summary on the back and it seemed pretty good but I never heard anything about it otherwise.

***Raised by Wolves is most definitely a YOUNG adult read. I would recommend it for anyone that is 13-16 maybe 17 if they haven't read anything more advanced. I think it is really for younger teens.***
