Touring.. and Eating After Dark!

So last night I went to Westlake Ohio, I was headed to the After Dark Tour featuring Leah Clifford, Courtney Allison Moulton, and Lisa Desrochers and it was..... THE BEST BOOK SIGNING YET!!!

I almost didn't make it, due to unseen complications, I was running very very late. I called the book store at 8:27 PM last night, knowing that Ms. Clifford had said they should be there until 8:30ish... Thank goodness they were still there, and since she had known already that I was supposed to come, the wonderful ladies that they are decided to wait.. it didn't hurt any that I was already there, just trying to find a parking place ( there was like NONE ).

After rushing inside and running up the escalators, I finally made it to the signing area, and got to meet the three amazing stars of the evening. People I will tell you, it was great, I was flustered from rushing ( kinda embarrassed too from being so late ) but they were sooo nice about it. All three of the ladies signed our books, and the swag ( which we will be handing out to you guys ) and they were all smiles the entire time.. well except Leah when it was confirmed that the Mexican restaurant was indeed closed for the evening :)

After spending all of 10 minutes in the Barnes & Nobles the Authors and their entourage headed out to eat. The Cheesecake Factory was were we went, and the food was delicious. I was a bit lost at first, they don't exactly have a menu, they have a book of items for you to choose from :) but other than that it was great.

Spending the evening with these ladies was such a wonderful time. I am soo glad that I was able to come along, and got to see a little bit of how they are when it's just them and everyday life. It's good to know that even when someone has fans they are still just as goofy as the next person, and can still be themselves!!

Thank you Leah, Courtney, and Lisa for all the great conversation last night, the laughs, and the memories. Oh and don't forget whenever you need a cheerleader for getting together a group of authors in Northeast Ohio I am your girl!!
