Book Review: Angelfire

Just finished Angelfire about 10 minutes ago. Great read!!! I'm not sure if I am absolutely unbiased about this book because the author, Ms. Courtney Allison Moulton is such an AWESOME person, but the book totally rocked!!

Ellie has been having nightmares for awhile now, her parents even took her to a shrink to see what was going on. Unfortunately the problems are a little more difficult that what a normal shrink could fix. Ellie is the Preliator, it's latin for warrior, even though she feels anything but warrior like after the dreams.

Will is doing everything he can to protect Ellie, as her Guardian he is supposed to have her safety as his number one priority. But after spending over 500 years watching out for her, and losing her time and time again, his feelings have changed to something much deeper.

Lying to her family, friends, and well everyone else who comes into her life is something that Ellie can't stand, but knows is necessary. She wants to be just a normal human girl, with normal human problems, and she really wants Will to kiss her, even though she is pretty sure he doesn't feel that way about her.

After facing one particularly ugly Reaper, they find out about the Enshi. An ancient evil that not only eats souls, but destroys them so they are never seen again. And as Ellie is the Preliator, and reborn each time she dies into a new human body, the last thing she needs is the Enshi getting a hold of her soul.

Setting out with Will, Lauren ( a real psychic ) and Nathanial ( another Angelic Reaper ), they set themselves up to rid the world of the Enshi, if they can find it before the demonic reapers do. They have to find it first or else the Apocalypse will be among us, and all will perish.

I loved this book, and can't wait for book 2 in the trilogy!!!!
